Next Dear Jane Meeting:
Tuesday, March 5th, 6pm Boomarang Diner, 11 N Adair St, Pryor, OK 74361
Dear Jane blocks are 4 1/2″ blocks that vary from easy to advanced skill levels. You may use your favorite fabrics. There is a Dear Jane quilt book that shows the many types of blocks that can be made using piecing, appliqué, or a mixture of the techniques.
We meet at a restaurant chosen by the group, 1st Tuesday of every month and is announced in the PPQG Newsletter the month before.
Each month a hostess is chosen for the next month. The hostess is the only one that will bring the two completed blocks that she has chosen. She is our so called tester and she will give her feedback about the way she made it and explain if she found an easier method or had any trouble. You will receive the patterns for those two blocks to complete and bring to show the following month. The hostess will conduct the meeting and ask if you have questions. Then she will ask for individuals to tell about the block you made from the month before. We then pass around your blocks. We like to put them in a sandwich bag so they don’t get dirty. Please also put your name on or in the bag. Check Dear Jane out at www.dearjane.com or http://www.susangatewood.net/dearjane.html
For more info see Lois Werkman or Cathy Casida.
We look forward to seeing everyone that is interested in 2024!!
